Korean Actress Jung Ah Yul Commited Suicide at Her Home: Allkpop website reported that the body of Actress Jung Ah-yul was discovered at her own home after an apparent suicide attempt.
Despite being rushed to the hospital upon discovery, doctors failed to resuscitate the actress and she was pronounced dead.
It was also reported that several acquaintances close to Jung Ah-yul claimed that the actress was suffering from depression and that the disorder may have led to the suicide.
Fans of the 25-year-old star also realised that on 11 June, the day before her death, Jung Ah-yul had posted a status on her Facebook, stating, "Nothing consoles me".
Jung Ah-yul was just beginning her career as an actress through KBS drama "Love, My Love". Her contract with agency Myname Entertainment expired seven months ago and she has been training to be a singer previously.
On another note, although the death seemed to be caused by suicide, the police are investigating further into the cause of her death.
