The biggest news of the day was Travis Pastrana's crash in the Moto X Best Trick event. The Huffington Post Sports reports that the star has a broken foot and ankle. Jackson Strong then won the event, according to the LA Times.
18-year-old amateur skateboarder Raven Tershy took home the gold in the Skateboard Park event, reports the Santa Cruz Sentinel, even after crashing.
In the BMX Big Air event, Steve McCann performed a double front flip followed by a double tailwhip, and took first place, while his competitor Chad Kagy fell from 45 feet in the air, reports the LA Times.
