Lee Evans To Ravens

Lee Evans Trade Could Be Completed This Weekend: Bills trade WR Lee Evans to Ravens: The Ravens imported more experience at the position Friday, acquiring Lee Evans from the Bills.

He offered an upfront view of his talents last October, burning the Ravens for 105 yards (on six catches) and three TDs in Baltimore.

"He's a quality veteran receiver who stretches the field and gives us a significant downfield presence," Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome said in a statement. "He's the type of person you want on your team. He brings leadership and maturity to the locker room.

"He's a proven player in this league and a quality person who will fit in well on our team," said Baltimore coach John Harbaugh. "We're all looking forward to going to work with him."

Evans' departure leaves Stevie Johnson as the clear-cut No. 1 wideout in Buffalo and opens up a starting spot for Marcus Easley, David Nelson, Roscoe Parrish or Brad Smith.

Per ESPN, the Ravens gave up a 2012 fourth-round pick for Evans. By Usatoday
