Cook A Pot of Curry: The organizers of the 'Cook A Pot of Curry' drive are going ahead with their call to get Singaporeans to celebrate the dish with their family and friends on Sunday.
The movement began last Thursday, after a group of seven Singaporean friends read the article in Today.
They decided to put out a call on Facebook 'to celebrate curries as part of our way of life and to share this celebration with those who are new to our shores'.
Their post went viral. Several bloggers spread the word about the event, which has inspired a curry song video, curry slogans, and pledges from people in places as far flung as Australia, Israel, Britain, Finland and Ukraine that they will be joining in too.
