New Zealand Earthquake June 2011:The June 13, 2011 South Island, New Zealand earthquake is a continuing part of the earthquake sequence that initiated with the magnitude 7.0 September 3, 2010 Darfield, New Zealand earthquake. 
Christchurch Earthquake 2011 Two powerful aftershocks have hit the New Zealand city of Christchurch, less than four months after an earthquake that killed 181 people.
Widespread damage has been reported in the quake-damaged city, but there were no initial reports of fatalities.

Magnitude 3.8, Tuesday, June 14 2011 at 0:43 am (NZST), 10 km south-east of Christchurch.
