Mary Elizabeth Winstead: Vampire hunting…it’s not just for fairy tale characters! Death Proof‘s Mary Elizabeth Winstead has signed up to play Mary Todd Lincoln in the upcoming Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, where she’ll be teamed with Benjamin Walker (already playing a bad-ass president in Broadway’s Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) as honest Abe. Dominic Cooper is also lined up for a role in the adaptation of last year’s novel.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter should not be mistaken for the upcoming Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton, which should not be mistaken for those three Snow White movies in pre-production.
Since we love both Walker and Winstead (last seen in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World), we’re hoping Lincoln doesn’t get lost in the old-school ass-kicking shuffle.
