She said Edison wanted to film her, saying it was for his company.

Cammi Tse I slept with Edison Chen Once More: 2 Apr – A few days after singer/actor Edison Chen claimed to be still single, Hong Kong model Cammi Tse was spotted leaving his apartment one morning, leaving people to believe that the pair have reconciled their scandalous relationship, according to the Daily Chilli website.

Intimate photos of the couple were exposed sometime last year, adding damage to the already infamous reputation Edison carries from the 2008's sex scandal he was involved in with a slew of other Hong Kong celebrities.

Cammi made headlines in the media for a good while following the exposure that Edison was dating an underage girl and had probably taken her virginity as well.

However, their affair only lasted about a month, or so thought by many, at least until this recent event took place.

Edison has yet to clear the air with the media on these new findings.

Chief Guards Officer Nelson Yau Thian Hock Resigned

Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Chief Guards Officer, Colonel Nelson Yau Thian Hock, has resigned from his post, leaving the Organising Committee of the National Day Parade (NDP) 2012 without a leader.

He made the abrupt announcement last Monday after calling for an emergency meeting, reported local newspaper Lianhe Zaobao.

The Colonel, who is the Commander for the 21 Division, tendered his resignation due to 'personal reasons', said the Chinese daily.

The Ministry of Defence had confirmed his resignation, according to the report.

Shirley Yeung Blog: Shirley Yeung gives birth to baby girl, Hong Kong actress Shirley Yeung announced over her micro blog that she had given birth to a baby girl.

"Thank you, friends, media and fans for your care and concern during this period, I miss you a lot!

"I am very happy that I have successfully given birth to a baby girl. Both mother and child are healthy!" Yeung declared, in a micro blog post today.

This is the first time the former Miss Hong Kong had addressed her pregnancy after she was spotted heavily pregnant in December last year, following her breakup with her boyfriend, actor Gregory Lee, in June, and the revelation that she is in a relationship with former Hong Kong national diver Andy Ng.

The identity of the father of Yeung's child is not yet known, though speculation is rife that Ng fathered her child.

Apart from announcing the birth of her baby, Yeung also expressed in her post that she intends to return to showbiz.

"I will now be concentrating on taking care of my little baby! I hope to return to work soon and meet everyone!" said the actress, adding that she would not respond to further questions about her pregnancy.

Apple ipad 3 Singapore: Third generation iPad 3 was introduced in San Francisco today and Apple gave the new iPad a bunch of new features but no new name.

With a host of upgrades and additions including a bright new Retina display driven by an A5X chip with quad-core graphics, a 5-megapixel iSight camera and now, full 1080p HD video capture capability. With both Wi-Fi-only and 4G models, the new iPad 3 can connect to numerous speedy networks such as the 4G LTEs offered by AT&T and Verizon, and it still offers up to 10 hours of battery life.

When it goes on sale next Friday in the US and several other countries - including Singapore - it will be "the iPad" or perhaps "the new iPad", not "iPad 3" or "iPad HD", as some had speculated.

The lack of a new name could cause confusion for buyers, particularly since the older model, the iPad 2, will still be sold.

The new iPad unveiled yesterday (this morning, Singapore time) has, as expected, a sharper screen, driven by a faster processing chip. What was more surprising was that the new features mean the tablet computer will be slightly thicker and heavier than the iPad 2, because it needs a larger battery to power the high-resolution screen.

The new iPad will be 9.4mm thick. That compares with the iPad 2's 8.8mm. The weight is going up from 0.6kg to 0.65kg for the Wi-Fi-only model. The original iPad weighed 0.68kg.

Prices are not changing from the previous models. They will start at US$499 (S$625) in America. Versions capable of accessing cellular networks will cost US$629 to US$829.

The new iPad will go on sale March 16 in the US, Canada and 10 other countries - including Singapore. A week later, it will go on sale in 25 more countries.

An Apple source confirmed that the March 16 launch date means Singaporeans, by virtue of being in Asia, will be among the first in the world to get their hands on the new iPad, ahead of those in other time zones.

Apple's Singapore website had already been updated by early this morning, with the new iPad available for pre-order at prices ranging from S$658 for the basic WiFi-only 16GB model, to S$1,088 for the 64GB WiFi and 4G model, with deliveries scheduled for March 16 to 22.

Apple is keeping the basic model of the iPad 2 in production and dropping the price to S$528 for the basic model in Singapore, beginning today. That could help Apple regain some market share from cheaper tablets like Amazon's US$199 Kindle Fire.

The battery life of the new model remains the same: About 10 hours of use. Apple says the battery capacity is 70 per cent higher than for the old model, which suggests that it could have kept the old screen and extended the battery life to 17 hours instead of upgrading the screen resolution.

Apple said the new display will be sharper than the average high-definition television set. In a hands-on demonstration, text shown on the screen was noticeably crisper. The higher resolution will not make a difference, however, for most Web images, which are of low resolution. The new screen should be able to show all the detail in high-definition movies, which the iPad 2 does not.

The new screen can also show deeper and more vibrant colors than previous models, Apple said. The new model features a higher-resolution camera on the back, similar to the one in the iPhone 4S.

Apple also confirmed that the new model will come in a version that the LTE (Long Term Evolution) wireless broadband networks. They offer speeds that are faster than the 3G networks used by previous iPads, and current iPhones.

"We are taking it to a whole new level and are redefining the category that Apple created with the original iPad," said Apple CEO Tim Cook, speaking of a "post-PC" era dominated by the iPad and other Apple products.

Acer Aspire V3 Notebook: Aspire V5 is another new release from Acer. Acer debuts the Aspire V3 and V5 Series.Aspire V3 notebook, which comes in any one of three configurations, with 14, 15.6 and 17.3-inch screens in-tow. 

Each variation will be powered by an Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processor, with NVIDIA GeForce GT series graphics throwing up the visuals. As with the V5, specs are difficult to come by at this point, though Acer has confirmed that the 17.3-inch model will include a 1600 x 900 pixel display. There's Blu-ray, HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0 on board, as well as support for SSD and hard drive combos (17.3-inch model only). Aesthetically, it'll launch in three colors (black, gold and gray) when it eventually debuts in Q2 of this year. Pricing starts at €400 (about $520) for the entry-level spec, rising to €900 (roughly $1180) at the top end.

Unlike the V5, we got to try out a fully-working model here at CeBIT. The V3 feels much larger and heftier when compared to its slimmer siblings, but the full-length speaker above the keyboard and generous LCD size tells you that Acer intended this model for a very different user. The finish may be plastic, but the gloss and matte combination looks nice enough. It feels relatively heavy in the hand, but it is carrying a reasonable amount of I/O baggage.
