Singtel Network Down Due to Network Load: SingTel's Network Down and mobile customers have been experiencing intermittent difficulty in making calls and accessing the network.
The cause of the problem has been traced to a software glitch.
Customers reported that the problems lasted several hours on Tuesday afternoon and from mid-afternoon on Wednesday.
SingTel said the problems are limited and contained to central areas in Singapore.
It recommends customers to switch to the 2G network to continue using voice, SMS and data services.
SingTel began restoring its 3G services at 8pm on Wednesday.
