Billy Bob Thornton: Amanda Brumfield, the estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton, was found guilty of manslaughter last Friday in an Orlando, Florida courthouse. Her trial concerned her involvement in the death of a friend’s baby. She was found not guilty on the charge of first-degree murder.According to People, Brumfield contends that 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia’s death was accidental. She asserts that the child fell a short distance out a playpen while she was babysitting. However, prosecutors did not think that such a fall would lead to a skull fracture, as well as bleeding and swelling of the brain.
TheHollywoodGossip.com reports that Brumfield will be sentenced in July. Her trial took place in the same courtroom as the Casey Anthony trial.
